Special Meeting of Lakewood Board of Supervisors Meeting
May 7, 2008
Call to Order: Chair Phil Halverson called the May meeting of the Lakewood Board of Supervisors to order at 6:35 p.m. on May 7, 2008 at the Lakewood Town Hall.
Present: Supervisors Shannon Ostazeski, Jerry Larson, Tim Musick, Chuck Campbell, and Phil Halverson. Also present: Clerk Beth Foudriat, Attorney Tim Strom and public (register attached).
Purpose: Purpose of this meeting is to review the minutes for the Special Meetings of the Lakewood Board of Supervisors regarding Amended Condition Use Permit for Mr. Lipe. Minutes for review are 3/06/08, 3/24/08, 3/27/08, 4/03/08, and 4/16/08. Minutes for the previous meeting have been approved.
Amended Conditional Use Permit was filled with St. Louis Country Recorders Office on 5/06/08.
Supervisor Halverson: noted that some of the minutes did not state draft on the top and were signed. He would like to have the minutes state draft until approved by Board of Supervisors.
Larson: In addition would like to have the date approved on document.
Musick: The date approved is in minutes, therefore do have a record of approval.
Ostazeski: Have the minutes approved tonight resigned.
Halverson: all minutes should state draft until approved. Recording these minutes is different as compared to other meeting. Many suggestions for change for this set of minutes and would give the suggestions to Board of Supervisor to review starting with March 6, 2008 meeting.
Ostazeski: Most meeting minutes by Gene and trust him to get essence of meeting.
Halverson: He would summit suggestions to Board of Supervisor not to clerk to correct, then Board of Supervisor would review and act.
Musick: Get copy of Halverson’s then review.
Motion by Larson to photocopy Halverson’s copy of changes by clerk to distribute to Board of Supervisors. Second by Musick. Discussion: Attorney Strom: If copy is given to Board of Supervisors need to distribute to public. Motion carried.
Motion by Larson to reconvene this meeting to May 22, 2008 at 7 pm. Second by Musick. Motion carried. Meeting recessed at 6: 55 pm.
Discussion: Attorney Strom: 60-day rule limits time for completion. A decision is made and filed, and this is just of complete the paperwork.
