Lipe Conditional Use Permit Appeal
Call to Order: Vice-Chair Chuck Campbell called the Special Meeting of the Board of Supervisors, recessed from 5-7-08, to order at 7:00 p.m. on 5-22-08 at the Lakewood Town Hall.
Present: Supervisors Shannon Ostazeski, Jerry Larson, and Chuck Campbell. Also present: Clerk Beth Foudriat, Attorney Shawn Reed. No other public present.
Purpose: Purpose of this meeting is to review and approve the minutes for the Special Meetings of the Lakewood Board of Supervisors regarding Amended Condition Use Permit for Mr. Lipe. Minutes for review are 3/06/08, 3/24/08, 3/27/08, 4/03/08, 4/16/08 and 5-7-08. Minutes for the previous meeting have been approved.
Supervisor Campbell stated because the Town of Lakewood has been served with a lawsuit regarding this issue, that on advice from the town lawyer that we delay any action on this matter for 4-6 weeks until the Board can get advice from the lawyer as how to proceed.
Motion by Ostazeski to delay approving minutes for 4-6 weeks until advice from legal counsel is received, and to recess this meeting with a reconvene date to be determined. Second by Larson. Discussion: none. Motion Carried unanimously.

Lakewood Board of Supervisors Meeting
Special Meeting on 5-22-08
Call to Order: Vice-Chair Chuck Campbell called the Special Meeting of the Board of Supervisors to order at 8:00 p.m. on 5-22-08 at the Lakewood Town Hall.
Present: Supervisors Shannon Ostazeski, Jerry Larson, and Chuck Campbell. Also present: Clerk Beth Foudriat. No public present.
Purpose: Purpose of this meeting is to make recommendations for hiring and hire a Road Forman and Building & Grounds Supervisor.
Supervisor Ostazeski reviewed the procedure to date. The applications were reviewed by Supervisors Musick and Ostazeski. The top 3 applicants were invited for an interview. Two for the people were interviewed on 5-21-08. The third applicant was unable to come until 5-23-08. Therefore, unable to make a recommendation at this time. The third interview will be done before the June 4, 2008 Board of Supervisors meeting and will make a recommendation at that time.
Motion by Ostazeski to defer further discussion and decision of the hiring of the Road Forman and Building & Grounds Supervisor to the June 4, 2008 Board of Supervisors Meeting. Second by Larson. Motion carried unanimously.
