Duties/Responsibilities of Supervisor
- Serves for 3 years as one of three on a board responsible for town business the law has not committed to others.
- Responsible for overseeing annual expenditures for safety and welfare of town citizens including fire protection, land ordinances, town roads, elections, solid waste and record keeping.
- Work with other government units and groups for the welfare of citizens and the environment.
Supervisor Chuck Campbell was elected in March of 2006. He is the representative for Lakewood on the Duluth Area Township Board. He is also the liaison Supervisor for Lakewood's Recreation Department and the Recycling Program.
Supervisor Phil Halverson was elected on May 8, 2007 at a special election. He will be the liaison to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Supervisor Jerry Larson was elected in March of 2007. He is the liaison Supervisor for the Lakewood Fire Department and for Safety Training and also the representative for the McQuade Public Access Committee.
Supervisor Tim Musick (the current chair) was elected in March of 2005 and is the liaison Supervisor for Road & Bridge, Buildings & Grounds and Maintenance, he is also Lakewood's Representative on the North Shore Management Board.
Supervisor Shannon Ostazeski was elected on May 8, 2007 at a special election. She will be the liaison to the Building and Grounds Department.
