Lakewood Board of Supervisors Special Meeting Recessed from (11-9-2006) November 15, 2006 Call to Order: Chair Diane Larson called the Special meeting recessed from November 9, 2006, to order on November 15, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lakewood Town Hall. Present: Supervisors Diane Larson, Chuck Campbell and Tim Musick; also Clerk Gene Bromenshenkel and general public. Purpose of Meeting: To continue the review of the Request for Proposals (RFP's) received for updating of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the Town of Lakewood. Additional information was obtained since the 11-9-2006 meeting to clarify the proposals submitted. The Community Growth Institute provided information on the cost to provide a community survey as part of the process. They indicated the cost would be between $1,500 and $2,000. It was agreed that 25 copies of the final report would be required of the firm selected to facilitate the process. The report must be friendly to web site access and printing. Motion by Supervisor Larson to accept the proposal from the Center for Rural Planning to facilitate the comprehensive Land Use Plan update. Second by Musick. Motion Carried. Dates proposed for meeting with the staff of Center for Rural Planning are December4th or 5th. This would be a special board Meeting to complete the details and understanding, including a written agreement with the staff on the steps of conducting the facilitation of the Plan update. Motion by Musick to adjourn the Meeting at 7:24 p.m. Second by Campbell. Motion Carried. Respectfully Submitted;
