Employment Planning & Zoning Administrator
The Town of Lakewood is accepting applications for a Planning and Zoning Administrator. Responsibilities include supervision, administration and enforcement of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan & Lakewood Planning and Zoning manual. Issue & processing of permits for land use, conditional use and variances with inspection upon completion. Work with & provide technical assistance to the P & Z Commission, relay information in completed format to Clerks office for distribution to residents. Collect information and recommendations with findings to monthly P & Z meetings, Town Board meeting and periodic Board of Adjustment Hearings. Have office hours one evening a week during construction season, and provide phone availability during the year. Other duties as directed by Town Board. Minimum qualifications: Education and/or experience dealing in Planning, Public Administration or related field, and possession of a valid MN Driver’s License.
